Depuis plus d'un an, je suis co-éditeur de Mindfield, le bulletin de la Parapsychological Association. Pour le 5e numéro dont je me suis occupé, je suis heureux d'être parvenu à faire paraître un numéro spécialement consacré à l'Institut métapsychique international. J'y interviens pour un récap historique (à paraître également en français dans Métapsychique, la revue-livre de l'IMI), une interview de Mario Varvoglis, le président actuel de l'IMI, et la traduction de l'article de Philippe Baudouin, La bibliothèque des hantises.

This issue of Mindfield 11.2 turns to France, the country of Descartes, and the particular contexts it offers. Parapsychology - or metapsychics according to Nobel laureate Charles Richet’s term - has experienced cycles of enthusiasm and marginalization. The articles presented here trace several moments of this story, shared between the past glory of the Roaring Twenties and the current activities of Institut Métapsychique International (IMI) as they celebrate their 100th anniversary.
Included in this issue are articles by Antonio Leon, Renaud Evrard, Carlos Alvarado, Philippe Baudouin, and an interview with IMI President Mario Varvoglis. Closing this issue is the 28th installment of the bibliography Articles Relevant to Parapsychology in Journals of Various Fields, reflecting the large popular interest in the parapsychological domain.
